How to Defeat Thundering Pandaren Spirit

I just uploaded a video companion to my Thundering Pandaren Spirit strategy guide to my Youtube channel, youtube.com/warpets. The astute observer will note that I’m using Flayer Youngling instead of Fluxfire Feline, and I explain why in the video.  However, I’m still really enjoying using my Rabbit for this fight; there’s something amazingly gratifying about never getting hit.  Check it out, and enjoy :)

Okrut Dragonwaste

With his big scary dragons, Okrut can be quite intimidating, and most tamers are happy to be done with him once they defeat him.  However, it can be fun to farm him for xp.  Here’s how it’s done.

Tamer Pets and Abilities:

Drogar (Proto-Drake Whelp): 1400 Health, 289 Power, 289 Speed.  Flamethrower, Proto-Strike, Ancient Blessing
Sleet (Frosty): 1546 Health, 260 Power, 289 Speed.  Frost Breath, Call Blizzard, Ice Tomb
Rot (Scourged Whelpling):  1546 Health, 289 Power, 260 Speed. Shadowflame, Death and Decay, Plagued Blood

Pets and Abilities to use:

Anubisath Idol (level 25) with Crush, Stoneskin, and Rupture
Rabbit (level 25, Speed > 289) with Flurry, Dodge, and Burrow

Strategy Overview:

Use Anubisath Idol to crush Drogar; use the Rabbit to defeat the Undead.

Reliability: 4/5 (Fairly Reliable)

Notes on Pet Choice:

My comments about rabbits that I made in the Thundering guide still apply:  Any species of rabbit will work great as long as its speed is greater than 289.  A number of options have speed of 305, and those are ideal.  I use one with a speed of 322, and it works just fine.
